4 months~

Nathan is now 4 and a half months old...I can't believe how big he is!

He wears 6m clothing, is currently cutting his first tooth, and has started on baby food and cereal. In another week we will be moving up to a new car seat and stroller!

Nathan loves music, especcially being sang to. He now rolls in his crib a sleeps on his belly, back and side. He is very vocal, blows raspberries and reaches and grasps objects.

Uncle Steve came over Wednesday and hung with me and Dad...wait thats not my dad?! ... oh well, he's got a ba-ba so I guess its ok :)

Today Mary and Leah came to visit! Leah is 1 day shy of being exactly 2 months younger..

...we had fun looking and smiling at each other..

we were rubbing our feet together too...so cute xoxox

4 month check up

Today Nathan had his 4 month check up. Dr. V said he is perfect (of course ;-) )... perfectly healthy, language, motor, and cognitive skills are right on target. Nathan weighed in at 16 pounds and almost 27 inches long..putting him in the 90th percentile.

This week he will start on vegetables, to go along with his oatmeal (which he loves). He also got round 2 of his shots so this afternoon he wasn't quite himself. He was such a good boy and barely cried this time when the nurse stuck him. He made Mommy proud xoxo

Just waiting for his first tooth to appear.... expecting it in the near future...stay tunes :)

Happy Birthday Dad!

Today is Daddy's birthday and me and Mommy planned a special dinner for him. Here I am getting ready to blow candles out with Daddy

While Daddy is blowing out the candles....I wonder if he would mind if I dunk my paci in his coffee...mmmm..coffee on a rainy day would be perfect!

Hello!

This is Kylie..she's my dog...

..she keeps me company while Mommy does mommy things...sometimes we let Rhino play too. Kylie always likes laying on my blankets and I let her cause Mommy says sharing is nice.

She helps me when my neck gets tired from holding up my head, and lets me rest it on her head. Kylie's head is soft. And sometimes she gives me kisses for encouragement.

and the winner is....

OATMEAL!!!
After a horrible week of tremendous gas pains from trying the rice cereal we have finally made a successful switch to oatmeal. Nathan really likes the taste of the oatmeal and is doing great eating from the spoon...take a look!

Friends!

Today I finally got to meet my friend Leah. She sure is pretty, isn't she?!

Leah and I are exactly 1 day shy of being 2 months apart. I look like a giant next to her ;-)

Tonight GG Black came over for dinner..while Mommy and Daddy cooked me a GG sang songs together. That solid gold oldies station has some great tunes!

Sick days

This past week Nathan had a fever that came and went until Thursday. He also had incredibly bad gas pains...as you can see we were up at 4 AM trying everything to help with the gas. Here Kylie joined us to lay on the heating pad with Nathan..
